While the bar may seem appealing from the exterior , what I discovered behind its threshold was disturbing and far below any standard .

The floors were sticky , and a pungent odor of old alcohol and neglected washrooms suffused the entire pub. Reeking of a mixture of human waste, putrefaction and a sickly smell.
